Receiving
Upon receipt all spindles are inspected prior to disassembly, run, if possible and undergo a detailed failure analysis. This data is used in our CAR* program.
*CAR Customer Action Required. This program is intended to provide feedback to the customer of any machine, process or facilities issues that may compromise spindle life.
Electrical checks
Electrical checks are performed prior to disassembly. These checks are performed again after assembly.
Cleaning
Cleaning is critical to the proper operation of a spindle. We use a combination of manual, mechanical, and chemical processes to ensure that the component parts are as clean as possible. All parts are then inspected again to insure cleanliness. Only at this point are spindles transferred into our clean room for assembly.
Replacement parts
All replacement parts meet the OEM specifications.

Test
All spindles are put through a rigorous test protocol prior to acceptance by our QA department. This includes vibration, noise, run out, both static and dynamic, throughout the spindles operational range. We also put the spindle through an extended reliability test phase to insure it will operate properly when received by the customer.

Disassembly
Spindles are completely disassembled. At this time, we assess the problem with your spindle and notify you of any concerns  to machine, process or facilities (air supply and vacuum) that may be attributed to the cause of failure.

Parts
All parts are carefully examined and measured to insure compliance with spindle manufacturer specifications and standards. All our internal specifications meet the same. This insures you of a quality product every time.
Results of this examination are retained for historical record and access.
